The good weather continues, but the flowers are wearing out. They did their best over the summer to my delight. Even though their season is over, that doesn't mean we have to give up on our time in the sun!

This modest arrangement of pots that you see on the picture is my home, Christiane. The land is raw, natural, left to the good care of the surrounding fauna, from as small as Mr. Colibri to as big as the Mesdames Chevreuil who come to mate, 18 at a time, around the house.

You will understand that maintaining a landscape is quite impossible! However, I do treat myself to a few pots of flowers and herbs that give color to my reading corner. I spend most of my time there in the fall. The sun is good, the air just cool enough, the light spectacular.

Since my potted flowers don't give me as much yield anymore, I chose to bring out this reproduction on white aluminium, Le silence chantera pour toi by Sonia Valsecchi. Simple, but beautiful, beautiful!

My eyes meet hers as soon as I look up from my book. She is this friend who accompanies me during my breaks in the sun and together we listen to the music of nature and its inhabitants.

She is not afraid of the rain, no, no. She stays outside as beautiful and bright as ever, no matter what the weather is like. And what I also like about this decoration is that it is not found in the big stores. Since it's only available online, in a limited edition, I make sure I have that unique decorative touch that I won't find at my neighbor's house.

My outdoor garden would not make the front page of a magazine, but it does make the front page of my heart, which I now share with the fruits of my artist Sonia's labor.
