Some relics of my distant past have recently surfaced as my mother, who keeps almost everything, has rediscovered some of my earliest drawings. My first figurative steps after the daub phase. At the age of 3, I wasn't drawing matchstick figures, like many children of that age, but round, lively figures.
-
Were they a reflection of my unconscious self-perception? Possibly. Bodily reserves have never failed me. In any case, I'm glad Mom, who keeps too many memories, had the good sense to preserve them. I even remember a time when they were framed and proudly displayed alongside my mother's artwork in her studio.

Considering that at the age of 3 I was creating somewhat original "works" and at 5 I was selling them, why am I still surprised that I work in the art world on a daily basis? Maybe it's because my career path has been more focused on science, with my studies in ecology, and on rationality, with the various businesses I've owned.
-
I've also always claimed to have no talent for painting or drawing, although I do remember doing some rather nice drawings in a summer workshop many moons ago. Today I know that I don't have the patience to complete an artistic project. I have, however, found my zone of genius in Action Deco.

Indeed, it's my artists who have the ultimate talent and all the patience in the world to create the masterpieces I offer you in limited, certified reproductions. I work in the magic and beauty, on a daily basis, of everyone's work, offering myself and above all you a beautiful diversity of styles and subjects. So I'm very happy. The fiery Aries side of me finds satisfaction in the daily entrepreneurial actions I put in place to nurture, grow and expand Action Déco. I'm also very satisfied to know that my actions contribute, exponentially, to giving royalties to my artists and planting trees.

I offer wall art in the service of society. Nothing less. Who'd have thought that my plump little 3-year-old characters would have led me here?
