Interpretation of the work by the artist:
I like to observe birds, and there are many of them in the Parc de Camargue! The flight of the gray heron, right before my eyes are a gift. I admire the majesty in the deployment of the wings and the elegance of the movement of the two herons who take flight. What joy ! The slowness of their generous gesture made it an unforgettable image and inspired this painting. Unrealistic colors, ultramarine blue, orange, green, turquoise….transcend the beauty of these animals.
Les hérons cendrés - Patricia Jean-Cabot
Patricia Jean-Cabot draws her inspiration from observation and extensive research. The themes worked: horses, birds, nature, landscapes, are situated between representation of things and pictorial abstraction. His technique combines realistic lines and whimsical touches of color.
Intense or soft colors are chosen and prepared by grinding natural pigments mixed with acrylic binder or oil. Lots of earths, ochres and subtle blues.
