Interpretation of the work by the artist:
Inspired by the color of a flower that signifies eternal love and fidelity, the blue of the forget-me-not was the perfect color for the creation of this painting. The artist wanted to create a balance between contrast and softness in this original work.
Myosotis - Julie Melançon
In the first moments of creating a painting, Julie Melançon instinctively pulls colors from her cart to create an inspiring color palette. Once the color palette is chosen, she picks up her brushes and spatulas and lets herself go to the sound of her favorite music.
Often inspired by flowers and colors, her work frequently features elements of the natural world around us. Using strong brush strokes, she likes to create strong contrasts and original color harmonies. In creating her works, the artist wishes to arouse people's emotions and inspire them in the decoration of their homes.
