What we recommend Nathalie Brodeur, stylist in interior decoration:
You know that Pantone has unveiled its color of the year 2022 which is in a shade of mauve! So don't be surprised to see this color dress up in all its forms the next year!
To be honest, I have a big crush on this decorative composition with the artist's work. With the coldness and uncertainty that purple can bring to a decor, the warmth of yellow and the presence of natural wood in furnishings brings emotional balance to perfection.
Using a colored chair to relate to the artwork is great. Using greenery to finalize a decor is a must here, bringing a reminder of this subtle color present in the image.
The only point that could be improved in this decor is the coloring of the wall. Go for a warm white rather than a mauve-grey. This will bring a beautiful luminosity to the room and will put the work even more in value!

Interpretation of the work by the artist:
Usually, I take a long time to choose the title of a painting. I hang it on the wall or place it on an easel to observe it from all angles. A few days later, by dint of looking the basis of my intuition, I ended up finding the perfect title!
Sometimes the title refers to the person who inspired me. Other times, it's the colors that speak to me or it's just my imagination coming alive.
For this artwork, the process was quite different. As soon as I placed it on an easel, I immediately said to myself "spread your wings".
Why this particular sentence?
No idea ! This title is however very different from my other titles. I decided to do trust my subconscious for this one and adopt this sentence romantico-generic as a name.
Spread your wings - Quenick
I explore my subconscious and my intuition through my creations. It is by analyzing and contemplating the final work that I am able to connect the dots and thus decode my perceptions and influences.
