Artist's interpretation of the work:
This work depicts interlacing black and white welts creating an optical illusion. This design combines the qualities of the figurative and the abstract, the former being most visible in the eyes of the zebras, located in the middle of these interlacing patterns. Black and white play an essential role in the composition, creating a sense of balance and harmony. This is an excellent example of the ability to create a complex scene from simple colors.
